Governor Asa Hutchinson announced on Tuesday that the State of Arkansas will move into the COVID-19 Vaccination Plan Phase 1B on Monday, January 18th, 2021. The local health department, health systems and community pharmacies that are registered to participate in Phase 1B vaccine distribution came together with the City of Fort Smith and Sebastian County officials to collaborate as a united medical community in the River Valley.

This group has been meeting since the announcement to determine the best approach for vaccine distribution.
