SCSO Seeks Assistance in Theft Case

On June 17, 2021, the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Officer responded responded to a report of theft on the Arkansas side parking lot of the Choctaw Casino.

According to SCSO Captain Philip Pevehouse, while the owner was in the casino for approximately an hour, unknown subjects entered their vehicle and stole multiple items. Cash, credit/debit cards, and multiple items of jewelry were taken. Also taken, several cameras. ​

Surveillance photos from the casino revealed a white male subject entered the victim’s car. A black Jeep picked the subject up and drove away. ​Investigators are asking for the public’s help. If anyone has any information or knows the identity of the person in the photos, they are asked to call FSSO at 479-783-1051. Callers may remain anonymous.
