Fallen Arkansas Veterans to Host Fundraiser

By Charles Foster, Founder
Fallen Arkansas Veterans

Hey everyone got some great news. I am sponsoring a Fallen Arkansas Veterans Military Organizations Meet and Greet Event Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harps, 3401 S. 74th St, Ft. Smith, AR, the west parking lot next to 74th St.

I have invited a few Military Organizations, VFW’s, American Legion, VVA, DAV, ADVA Chapters, MOAA and SADA, AVC, We Are The 22, Arkansas State Chaplain, and more. I will have Smoky B’s BBQ Food truck there so come out for some good BBQ sandwiches and much more. I am working on having egg rolls, soft drinks, music.

A short opening ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. The Master of Ceremonies will announce all Military Organizations present, and then everyone can meet and greet with all the organizations and get to know them and what they are about.

Food will be available starting at 11:30 a.m., so stick around for that. Everyone (veterans and the public) are invited so please come. This will be a great time for the public to get to know all these organizations. Bring cash, it cost nothing to get in, but some people will be selling items such as shirts, patches, BBQ and Egg Rolls (hopefully) etc. and donations will be welcome. There will be some door prizes. You will have to be present to win.

All money for Fallen Arkansas Veterans will go towards the ceremony later this year to honor the veterans and family members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and the freedoms we have today. Please come out and help honor all Veterans; past and present and meet these organizations. We owe them much, much more and I want to make sure they will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

I need some help with some things so please look at the list below and if there is anything on it that you could help me with, it would be very much appreciated. I can’t do this alone. Oh yeah, PLEASE share this with all your family and friends and tell them to do the same and on their pages. I would love to see a great turnout to show our support for all of our veterans. Any questions please message me or email me at [email protected]. Thank you and May God Bless.
